In life everyone needs love or some type of companionship. In the book Frankenstein, the monster gets shown no companionship and realizes he wants someone to love him. The reason everyone needs some type of companionship is because without it a person will be miserable in life. They will feel as if nobody cares about them and then they will not ever feel good about themselves. They will be lonely and depressed all of their life.
The monster in Frankenstein fells this way because everyone thinks he is some kind of animal and horrible person when really he is just like you and me. He was neglected since he was created. He was called ugly, so now all he thinks is “I am a horrible, ugly creature and nobody wants to be around me” because that is all he has been told. He needs love and companionship to show that he is not what everyone thinks he is. If he was just an ugly, carless monster he would not feel hurt and want somebody to love him.
If everyone has someone in their life to show that they are loved they will be much happier. Life would be miserable without that type of friendship, love or company. Everyone needs someone to be there for them through the ups and downs of life. Someone to have fun with, talk to, be themselves around and show how much they care about each other. Love is an amazing feeling and I know if I had nobody for me I would be devastated. Everyone should and deserves to be loved and to have someone care for them.
